COMIC: Widow's Mites

Original commentary (from April 18, 2021):

"Remember my comic about laziness? Well, this is kind of the other side of that coin. God created us for good works, and Satan really hates it when we do that, therefore he discourages us whenever he can. I’m sure we’ve all been discouraged after doing something for the Lord. I hope the contents of this comic will bring you encouragement even in times of discouragement!

The important point is: it’s not about how good you are at something, sure, that makes a difference, but to God, it’s your heart that counts. God chose David the shepherd boy because He saw something that was not on the outside. God chose the 12 disciples even though they didn’t have much going for them skill-wise. God will use YOU as long as you have that desire to do your best for Him. Just make sure you’re not using this as an excuse to get lazy, God sees your heart!

Let me tell you a story to end this off. A Christian lady in China decided she will witness a cleaning lady. She tried her absolute best, but sadly, the cleaning lady made no response. It was a discouraging witnessing encounter. However, just around the corner was a man who heard every word...and He believed. That man is my dad, and if that Christian lady didn’t try her best in this witnessing encounter, there would be no comics for Christ today. Let that sink in, the lady had no idea her attempt to witness had such an impact!

So the next time you get discouraged because you don’t see results right away, know that you may never see it, but God will use your work for great things!"
