COMIC: Christmas Prophecies

Note: This was written near the christmas season two years ago. I should probably do some more research into these prophecies, there is greater nuance than what I said about them in the past. Regardless, they are still very fascinating.

Original Commentary (from December 2nd, 2019):

"Today we take a look at a few well-known prophecies regarding the birth of the Messiah, Jesus. This Messiah was prophesied all the way back in Genesis, and the people of Israel have been looking forward to this messiah for thousands of years. The birth of Jesus put an end to all the prophecies about His first coming.

The most impressive part about these prophecies made hundreds of years before the birth of Christ is that they were all fulfilled. That means over 300 accurate prophecies. If that doesn’t prove God’s existence then I don’t know what can.

Here is some math I found online: the chance of one person fulfilling eight prophecies is 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000. The chance of one person fulfilling 48 prophecies is 1 in 10 to the 157th power. So with that math, one person fulfilling 300 prophecies is pretty much impossible, but hey, it’s Jesus we’re talking about here.
